On November 26, 2006 we had over 14" (36mm) of snow in Langley, some areas of greater Vancouver had up to 26" (660mm). Then the temperature dropped to minus 11 deg. celcius! Very rare for the Vancouver area, we usually get rain in the winter.

Actually, I think it was Washington State (Seattle) that got all the snow, they are not far from Vancouver.

That's right, it all came from WA. Wow! We will be in WA on Dec 16. Can't wait to get my dose of snow before coming back to LA, haha!
And yes Brian, Opet will definately love it :) :) :) because he said it is just like RIO (nanumaga) hehehe!

...Well I heard there are plans to build a ski resort on Mount Nanumaga... :)

As I sit at night staring out the window as the snow continues to pound us, I wonder if we can build a speed skating oval on Lake Hapai, perhaps for the 2310 Olympics...

tapa ... i just saw this thread! u guys talking abt my beautiful lake haapai?? ;) of course ... felo is the most nutritious local food, but sadly .... tuvaluans dont like it!!! 2310 wud be like our third lifetimes around :p hehehehe

Canadiians must be crasy! all that snow where the hell is the sun? Come to Mount Isa its all here.
